Daniel Prusinowski is Principal Consultant of Aurora Acoustical Consultants Inc. with over thirty-five years experience in architectural acoustics, building sound insulation, mechanical noise, and community noise assessments.  He has over seventeen years experience using the CADNA/A environmental noise modeling program to prepare community noise assessments. He also has extensive experience with EASE, INSUL, ENC and other modeling programs to evaluate room designs for acoustical properties, constructions for sound insulation, and floor systems for impact isolation.  His further experience includes use of AIM Workbench and other mechanical noise modeling programs based on ASHRAE methods to evaluate ventilation system noise generation and transmission.

He is also experienced in performing evaluations of community noise, mechanical noise, sound and impact transmission, and product sound power levels following ANSI, ISO, and ASTM standards, other national and international acoustical standards and performance specifications, and local community code noise criteria.  

Mr. Prusinowski is a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), Canadian Acoustical Association (CAA), Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Audio Engineering Society (AES), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) with membership in Committee E33 on Building and Environmental Acoustics.
